About Moderation
While we'd like to have everyone behaving properly all the time, in the real world, chances are it's not going to happen. dota-allstars.board-directory.net is a moderated forum. While we try to do our best in eliminating problems that arise, moderators and staff cannot be everywhere and see everything. If you see something that is against the Board Rules, please send a private message it to the forum leaders that correspond to the section in question. The moderators have much more leverage on resolving distributes than registered users so don't try to act like a moderator. We will evaluate and handle every situation that is reported to us and we'll do our part by taking appropriate action where needed.
Account Suspension and Banishment
Your account may be suspended or banished from the dota-allstars.board-directory.net message board depending on the circumstances.
Your account will be suspended if the rule abuse is flagrant and repetitive. Most rule-breaking member accounts will be suspended within 30 days unless noted. Banishment from the forums comes thereafter.
If you log onto the dota-allstars.board-directory.net message boards and receive a message that you have been banned, please do not make any attempts to dispute your ban in public. Bypassing bans through the use of proxies will result in continuous permanent banishment.
Moderators, super moderators, administrators and staff reserve the exclusive right to suspend or ban an account with a stated, logical reason, without prior notice.

Copyrighted Material
dota-allstars.board-directory.net users agree not to post any material that is protected by copyright, trademark or other proprietary right without the express permission of the owner(s) of said copyright, trademark or other proprietary right. This includes but is not limited to magazine, book and newspaper scans, television broadcasts and copyrighted photos, pictures, and other forms of media.
Flaming, Bashing, and Trolling
Hate posts, defamatory posts and personal attacks will not be tolerated on the dota-allstars.board-directory.net Treat others on these message boards as you would expect them to treat you. Talking negatively about another user or posting topics specifically to provoke a negative response from an individual, a group or an entire community is not acceptable on our message boards. These posts will be closed or deleted and may result in having the privilege of posting on the boards revoked.
Bashing other message boards is also not allowed on the boards. Please respect the various Internet communities. If another board is not your favorite, there's no need to complain about it. Simply refrain from visiting it. Board bashing posts will be closed or deleted.
Serious Discussions, Debates and Opinions
Frivolous debates benefit no one. We encourage intelligent discussions about the merits and flaws of each argument, but senseless bashing against ones argument, opinion and/or viewpoint is unacceptable and should be avoided.
Profanity and Obscenity
While some may feel more comfortable talking in profanity-laced slang, we condemn the use of profanity on dota-allstars.board-directory.net Offensive language is unacceptable. While we may let you get away with anything you might hear on network television or radio, don't go overboard. Bypassing the word filters are not allowed here either. All letters of an offensive word must be edited out. A simple rule to follow is: "When in doubt, leave it out." You don't have to use excessive profanity to get your point across, and it's usually better to avoid it altogether. Profanity in posts will be edited out. Repeat offenders or those who use excessive profanity may lose the privilege to post on these boards by suspension or banishment, depending on the severity of the case.
Spam
Purposely spamming a message board with senseless, vacuous, or empty messages to take advantage of certain features is unacceptable. This includes such things as party posts, chain letters, two-word, three-word responses, continually posting the same topic on a particular board, posting the same question across several boards and using the Quote feature without contributing anything new to a thread.
On a similar note, participating in repeated spam attacks on the dota-allstars.board-directory.net board or planning a spam attack is unacceptable, and these actions will be reported to your ISP.
Begging
'Asking for' is tantamount to begging. If you're "just asking" for a hack, you're begging. If you cannot find a specific file on dota-allstars.board-directory.net , use the search feature (you'll see a link in the navbar). If, after searching, you still can't find it: too bad. We do not tolerate, permit, condone or support begging. Feel free to learn how to make your own hacks/trainers/cheats/whatever if you've got a problem with this.
Piracy, ROMs, and Warez
Linking or giving information about any site that distributes illegal software, ROMs, media, or emulators, seeking help to circumvent any copyright laws, admitting to possessing and/or distributing illegal copyrighted material, or encouraging software or media piracy is prohibited and serves as grounds for an immediate account banishment. Impersonating Other Users / Accessing Another User's Account
You may not impersonate another board member or create an account specifically for the purpose of provoking other users. Additionally, impersonating staff members is also forbidden. Also, accessing or using someone else's account or attempting to access another poster's account is strictly prohibited. If you engage in this type of behavior, the account of use and the IP address using the account will be banned.
Off-Topic Posts
Things happen when you accidentally post in the wrong section. You probably won't get your account suspended or banned for an off-topic post, but try to post suitable subjects on each of the appropriate boards. You don't want to talk about supermodel in a section about books. C'mon, that's pretty obvious. Please read what the sections are about before posting just so you refrain from making posts that are off-topic.
One Account Per User
You are allowed to create only one account on dota-allstars.board-directory.net . There is no reason that you need to create more than 1 account on dota-allstars.board-directory.net . If we find out that you create more than one account, we will ban all the accounts that you created and we might also ban your IP Address.
Citing Sources
It is important that you cite your source for anything you copy and paste. dota-allstars.board-directory.net does not encourage plagiarism in any way, and you will receive an infraction for not citing your source. The original creator spent his time and effort on whatever you’ve chosen to copy and paste onto the website, and giving him his due credits is necessary. Keep in mind, this goes for hacks, news articles, or anything you may post. If you are found renaming a hack or program in order to claim credits for yourself, you will be banned, no questions asked.
General Posting
As a general rule at dotaisthegame.tk , don’t post in threads that haven’t seen any activity in one week. Furthermore, we do not allow any advertising or referral links. Advertising is considered as purposefully asserting one object, business, program, or otherwise, as being the superior to its rival, and encouraging the sale of said service. Repeated offenses of advertising will result in your ban, and should you do it across several accounts, you will be reported to your internet service provider.
Other Questionable Content
Specific rules, that are not mentioned here, are left to the interpretation and discretion of the individual moderators and staff. Generally speaking, any material that is knowingly false and/or defamatory, misleading, inaccurate, abusive, vulgar, hateful, harassing, obscene, racist, sexist, profane, sexually oriented, threatening, invasive of a person's privacy or that otherwise violates any law or encourages conduct constituting a criminal offense will be dealt with respectively.
The board rules extend to all areas of the dota-allstars.board-directory.net system, including but not limited to private messages, avatars and signatures. This also includes asking for or offering anything against the board rules via private messages.
Notes:
* Word games and the like will not be tolerated. They will be immediately moved to the spam section.
* Moderators can do whatever they see fit – this includes giving a more severe infraction than listed.
* If you have an issue with an action a moderator has taken, please private message that moderator, and if you feel the moderator has not given you a valid explanation as to what has happened, you may try to appeal said action by contacting any of the Senior Staff of the Forum. These include Administrators, Super Moderators and Senior Moderators
